With the adidas NMD S1 Black Altered Blue, the brand with the 3-Stripes, creates a futuristic-looking running shoe that hugs your foot in comfort as it softens your landings and propels motion with every stride you take. This running sneaker features a Primeknit upper primarily in black, except for on the side panel, which has a white rectangle woven into the knit. This lighter color helps make the translucent black side-panel 3-Stripes pop. The black Boost midsole provides springy cushioning and energy return that extends beyond the heel for greater foot stability. Turquoise NMD plugs in the midsole also enhance stability. This eclectic sneaker rests atop a black rubber outsole with venting that allows for Boost expansion. Our favorite stand-out detail of this sneaker is the design of the tread for impact absorption and traction on the outsole.
