This unique KAWS Holiday Shanghai Vinyl Figure Grey comes to you from Brooklyn artist KAWS and his world tour exhibition that has successfully travelled the globe. This collectors' piece melds décor, art, and street culture in one amazing sculpture. Vinyl at its base, this sculpture from KAWS is a skull-faced man lying on his back, holding a fluorescent moon. He is primarily painted in gray and wears playful Micky Mouse–styled shorts with big boots. He has X's on his eyes, hands, and feet. The 9.5-inch figurine’s moon is the white of a full moon and is symbolic of the mid-autumn festival that takes place in North Bund in Shanghai, where citizens light lanterns for good fortune for the seasons to come.
