The Nike Air Max Plus Aquarius Blue applies a watery color gradient of Aquarius Blue to the Air Max Plus silhouette. Like other versions of the Nike Air Max Plus, the "Aquarius Blue" iteration features a plastic cage across the upper that resembles waves, ripples, or even palm fronds. Originally designed as a performance running shoe, this sneaker boasts a breathable mesh and synthetic upper with Air units underfoot. The Air units provide lightweight cushioning that doesn’t weigh down the foot. In addition, the rubber outsole offers traction and works with the supportive midfoot arch. This design mimics the shape of a whale’s tale and adds another technical element to the sneaker.
