The Nike Air Max Plus Sesame updates the Air Max Plus silhouette with an earthy colorway of Sesame with accents in Smokey Mauve, Hemp, Light Bone, and Red Stardust. The sneaker boasts several design elements inspired by the original sneaker, including wavy line overlays in leather, plastic detailing, and a base crafted from breathable mesh. The mudguard is also made from mesh, while the toe cap is crafted from a shiny plastic material. Contemporary upgrades include the hiking-inspired lace closure system, which features thin laces and an adjustable toggle. Finally, the inclusion of visible Nike Air units underfoot hearkens back to the sneaker’s performance-running roots and provides responsive cushioning. The Nike Air Max Plus Sesame was released on February 12, 2024, and retailed at $180.
