The Nike Air Max Plus Spider-Man takes the classic design by Sean McDowell and dresses it in the colors of the iconic superhero. The Spider-Man version of the Nike Air Max Plus begins with a mesh base that's blue at the heel with blue and black wavy stripes from the midfoot to the toe. The signature TPU cage designed for both style and support appears in gradient shades of blue to red. A glossy black synthetic toe cap, a black synthetic leather mudguard, a black synthetic leather heel tab that sports a yellow Tuned Air branding patch, and a side-panel Nike Swoosh in white outlined in black locks in the look of this upper. The most impressive aspect of this shoe is the high-octane sole that maintains the gradient colorway. The Max Air units in the midsole provide ultimate cushioning, the midfoot carbon plate in blue and red provides midfoot arch support, and the rubber outsole in black with hits of blue and red sports thick, grippy lugs. The Nike Air Max Plus Spider-Man debuted on August 1, 2023, for $185 retail.
