It isn't often that you see a sneaker inspired by Albert Einstein and his theory of relativity, but that's exactly where German online sneaker store AFEW and Saucony turned to for inspiration when designing this shoe. The brands also used the concepts of space and time to help put together the design for the Saucony Shadow 5000 AFEW Time & Space. The upper on this Saucony x AFEW creation consists of premium suede and tweed to give it a retro feel from the start. It also includes a series of green, gray, and black colors that work well together despite technically being mismatched. Additionally, the midsole and outsole are made out of glow-in-the-dark materials that provide this sneaker with an unexpected pop when the lights go out. But the things our experts like best about these sneakers are the mathematical equations on their midsoles. They help sell the inspiration behind them, while giving Einstein his props in the process.
