The Seiko Alpinist US Edition SPB089 is part of a limited-edition series collection created exclusively for Hodinkee by Seiko. The Alpinist US Edition SPB089 has a blue dial, which is protected by a stainless-steel casing. The dial itself is adorned with luminous hands and hour markers, making it easy to read even in dimly lit conditions. The watch face also features a date window at the 3 o'clock position. The stainless-steel case of the SPB089 is 39.5mm in diameter. The watch is water-resistant to a depth of 200 meters, making it suitable for swimming and diving. We think that one of the most impressive features of the Seiko Alpinist US Edition SPB089 is its movement. The watch is powered by Seiko's Caliber 6R35 automatic movement, which has a power reserve of approximately 70 hours.
