The adidas NMD R1 AI Camo Olive Cargo is a lifestyle sneaker whose design was inspired by military camouflage patterns. This version of the adidas NMD R1 is made with a breathable Primeknit upper with different shades of brown and tan forming a camouflage pattern. Olive green accents adorn the shoe in the form of an overlay that separates the forefoot from the back of the shoe as well as a branding tab on the lateral side of the forefoot near the sole. The adidas three stripes appear on each side in black, while black also forms the branded heel collar. Olive green supports also appear on each side of the heel, connecting the upper to the sole. There is also a heel pull tab and the shoe sits atop a white sole. Our favorite feature of this shoe is the striped pattern of the sockliner, which adds some visual interest to the shoe. The adidas NMD R1 AI Camo Olive Cargo was released on October 20, 2017, for $170.
