The release of the adidas NMD R1 Triple Black Reflective is an updated version of this silhouette that reconfigures the upper. On the 2017 Triple Black Reflective version of the adidas NMD R1, the upper is made of a stretch mesh with a ribbed texture that runs lengthwise along the shoe from toe to heel. The signature adidas 3 stripes on the side panel appear in tonal synthetic, and adidas trefoil branding appears on a tab on the mud guard and embossed on a black synthetic heel tab. The black midsole is made of a full-length Boost with EVA inserts. The outsole is Continental Rubber in a lattice work pattern that allows the Boost midsole to expand, react, and return energy with every step you take. The details our shoe experts love most about this sneaker are the reflective hits. 3M silvery dashes appear at the top of the adidas' 3-Stripes, and a reflective Trefoil graces the black tongue tag.
