Canada Goose originally developed its first Expedition Parka for scientists working in the extreme cold in Antarctica. The company has since made improvements to this parka and introduced updated versions of it, including the Canada Goose Expedition Heritage Parka Black. This extreme weather parka features a classic fit, and it's designed to make sure that anyone wearing it will stay warm in any conditions. It has a hardy 83% polyester/17% cotton construction with everything from a fleece-lined chin guard to rib-knit cuffs to a down-filled hood that all work together to provide warmth and comfort. It even has a removable fur ruff for the hood that can be put on and taken off depending on what the weather is like. What our experts have come to love about this jacket is that, outside of just being very warm, it's also extremely functional. It has six exterior pockets and two interior pockets large enough to hold any number of items. It also has a webbing grab strap on the back with special "Expedition" branding on it. The Canada Goose Expedition Heritage Parka Black was released as part of Canada Goose's Fall/Winter 2022 collection and retailed for $1,695.
