Over the years, Jordan Brand has introduced higher-end "Premium" versions of the iconic Air Jordan 1 silhouette on numerous occasions. The Jordan 1 Retro High Black Desert Sand is one of the many "Premium" AJ1s that the brand has unveiled. So, what sets this AJ1 apart from others that came before it? For starters, it has a luxurious leather upper that features exposed edges around the sneaker's overlays and around the Swooshes found on the sides of it. It also has a pair of upscale Black and Desert Sand colors that give this AJ a more dressed-up appearance than some of its more traditional counterparts. But what we think is the best feature is the Jumpman logo on the tongue that replaces that Nike Air logo that is usually found on AJ1s. It's one more element that makes this AJ1 look more "Premium" than usual. The Jordan 1 Retro High Black Desert Sand was released on April 7, 2018, and it initially retailed for $145.
