The Jordan 1 Retro Human Highlight is a high-top silhouette released in honor of the acrobatic slam dunker Dominique Wilkins. The black, red, and yellow color combination is a nod to the team colors of the Atlanta Hawks, who Wilkins primary played for. Jordan 1 Retro Human Highlight features a subtle filmstrip graphic nestled into the quarter panel and toe box which is a reference to Wilkins’s nickname. Sporting a timeless basketball style, this sneaker has Nike branding hits in the form of yellow Nike Swooshes, yellow Air Jordan wings emblem printed on the collar, and a black and red Nike Air patch on the tongue. The standout element of this Jordan 1 Retro has to be the black perforated toe box, quarter, and tongue, it centers the sneaker and is then surrounded by the bold yellow and red elements. Together with the leather material, it is craftsmanship at its best. Released on September 7, 2013, the Jordan 1 Retro Human Highlight colorway had an original $140 price tag.
