The Jordan 12 Retro Gym Red (GS), also known as Jordan 12 Retro ‘Alternate,’ is a grade school-sized sneaker designed by Tinker Hatfield. The Gym Red Jordan 12 Retro sneaker arrives in a Gym Red colorway, which runs across the upper and is contrasted by a white mudguard, inspired by Japan’s Rising Sun Flag. This upper is made from leather to make it weather-resistant, versatile, durable, and give it a premium feel. This grade school sneaker has a black inner liner and black accents on the heel wrap-up. In addition, shiny Metallic Red eyelets uphold the thematic appearance, and lightweight foam and rubber sole maintain the white color on the mudguard. A notable feature of the Jordan 12 Retro Gym Red (GS) sneaker is its unique stitching pattern.
