The Jordan 4 Retro FlyKnit Orange is a special colorway of the Air Jordan 4 silhouette with a modern twist that incorporates Nike's lightweight and flexible FlyKnit material in the upper. The shoe is predominantly dressed in orange, covering all areas, including the inner linings and the outsole. The entire upper is made from FlyKnit material which is a sock-like fit, while the outsole is made from durable rubber. Despite the FlyKnit construction, it still maintains classic Jordan 4 design elements such as the plastic wing eyelets, the Air unit on the heel, and Jumpman branding on the heel tab and tongue. The stand-out feature of the Jordan 4 Retro Flyknit Orange, apart from the bold and colorful design, is the FlyKnit construction. It is constructed with precision to provide breathability and enhance flexibility, while maintaining a lightweight feel. The shoes were initially released for retail at $220 on June 14, 2019.
