Instantly, you can see how the 57/40 has evolved from the iconic original, retaining its most attractive attributes while updating it for the modern age. The overall design is far smoother, but the design cues that made the 574 so successful are exaggerated - including an oversized ‘N’ trademark, a flared midsole, and unmistakable style inspirations from the 1980s and 1990s.
