After reviving the New Balance brand in 2020, Aime Leon Dore, an NYC-based fashion brand, has returned to expand the 650 silhouette. Like past iterations from the duo, the New Balance 650R x Aime Leon Dore Grey features a creamy mesh upper and midsole for a fresh aesthetic. Grounding the design is the mauve purple leather overlay, which appears almost grey at first glance and complements the taupe laces and collar accent with New Balance branding. Despite its contemporary aesthetic, the cracked brown leather N logo on the quarters creates a more vintage vibe in keeping with the sneaker's steep history. Tired feet won't be a problem when wearing this sleek high-top, as it provides a comfy and supportive padded collar and an EVA wedge for lightweight cushioning.
