The Nike Air Max 95 Pure Platinum Gorge Green combines different textures and fabrics and sets it all atop a functional, responsive sole unit. The Pure Platinum/University Gold/Cinnabar/Gorge Green colorway of the Nike Air Max 95 sports a white mesh upper. It features overlays of blue and black suede, and of white and gray synthetic leather. An embroidered green Nike Swoosh appears on the lateral collar and complements the green loop eye stays, which are partially covered by, but visible beneath, the white mesh. The white foam midsole houses four visible Max Air units, and the outsole is black rubber with traction. What we appreciate most about this sneaker are the hits of bright color on a primarily neutral colorway. Gold Nike branding adorns a scarlet insole, and a scarlet and gold Nike branding patch accents the tongue. Scarlet Nike branding also appears on the heel, and the outsole pops with orange lattice-work rubber. The Nike Air Max 95 Pure Platinum Gorge Green was released on August 25th, 2022, for $140 retail.
