The Nike Air Max 97 Rainbow Snake Womens like so many effective Beaverton designs before it, leans on what the shape of each shoe enables the colourway to achieve and works coherently to elevate each new release in that manner. The wave like construction of the Air Max 97s upper is the perfect canvas for what Nike is trying to achieve with the Rainbow Snake colourway. Creating a solid foundation with a black mesh upper, similarly dyed leather overlays and a mint embroidered swoosh on both the lateral and medial sides, which are ultimately implemented to appropriately anchor the more headline grabbing section of the overall design. The multicoloured snakeskin print that dresses the mudguards complete with a white midsole and black rubber outsole, balancing the aesthetic beautifully.
