Designed by Kith founder Ronnie Fieg, the Kith x Air Pippen 1 'Chimera' was a premium version of Scottie Pippen's first signature shoe. Inspired by the mythical beast that had a lion's head, a goat's body, and a serpent's tail, the colorway symbolizes Pippen's ability to morph into several different animals on the court. The sneaker's faux pony hair upper combines leopard, zebra, tiger, and lion prints with a black tongue, black leather heel tabs, asymmetrical Pippen and Kith branding, and an embroidered black swoosh on the toe box. The shoe also comes with a white sole with a translucent Swoosh and a 360-degree Air-Sole unit. Released as a Kith exclusive in October 2017, the silhouette also dropped in a black faux pony hair colorway with a red visible Air Unit.
