Bo Jackson played a big part in helping popularize the original Nike Air Trainer SC High back in the 1990s. Nike brought it back in the form of the Nike Air Trainer SC High Auburn (GS) in grade school sizes. Unlike the Nike Air Trainer SC High that Jackson wore back in his heyday, these sneakers featured the colors of his alma mater Auburn University on them. They had a white leather base on the upper with royal blue overlays along with orange lockdown straps. They also had a grey nubuck heel overlay with "NIKE" embossed on it and light grey Swooshes as well as visible Air-sole units in the midsoles. Our favorite part about these sneakers is simply that they exist, as this showcases the monumental impact Jackson had on the sneaker world. It has been almost four decades since he left Auburn, but he continues to be tied to both his school and these trainers. The Nike Air Trainer SC High Auburn (GS) was released on September 3, 2022, for a retail price of $95.
