The Nike SB Dunk Low City of Cinema is a low-top athletic shoe featuring a Celestial Gold leather upper with a mottled finish, accented by the Nike Swoosh in black on the sides. The tongue and heel collar are done in Dark Team Red crushed velvet, accented by coordinating laces and Nike branding in Baroque Brown and Gold. An Armory Navy heel tab displays embroidered Nike branding, while the Baroque Brown outsole coordinates the aesthetic. The Nike Dunk has evolved from a university sports shoe into a staple within Nike SB, the American sneaker brand’s skateboarding collection. In honor of the Olympic Games 2024, held in Paris, France, Nike released the City of Cinema Dunk Low, which features an aesthetic that recalls the decor of classic Parisian theaters. In our opinion, the best feature of these shoes is their velvet accents, which are not a common fabrication in sneakers.
