The Nike Zoom Fly Tokyo is a limited-edition running shoe that commemorates the Tokyo Marathon. The Zoom Fly Tokyo features a predominantly white colorway with University Red and Summit White accents. The upper is constructed using Nike's Flywire technology, which provides a secure and customizable fit that adapts to the shape of your foot. The midsole is made of Lunarlon foam, which is both lightweight and responsive, providing cushioning and energy return with every stride. Additionally, the sneaker features a carbon fiber plate in the midsole, which helps to increase propulsion and deliver a more efficient stride. Nike´s Swoosh appears on the side and on the toe, while the heel has a vertical Nike Racing branding. We think that one of the most noticeable details of the Nike Zoom Fly Tokyo is the digital clock on the heel of the shoe. This clock is set to the start time of a marathon, adding an additional layer of meaning to the design. The shoe was released on February 15th, 2018 at a retail price of $150.
