The Monsters is the world of the picture-book artist Kasing Lung, created in 2015 in three books inspired by Nordic mythology, The Puca Story, Pato and the Girl and Miró's Requiem. Lung had won first place in the European Picture Book Competition in 2003 with Oki and made his first toys with the Hong Kong brand How2work in 2011. Its best-known character is Labubu, with nine teeth and upright pointed ears.
