Launching as part of an outdoor-inspired capsule collection, the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance Rainier ‘Brown’ presents a modern interpretation of the hiking boot worn by mountaineer Lou Whittaker when he climbed Mount Everest in 1982. Lined in waterproof Gore-Tex, the upper features a brown Cordura base with tonal suede overlays and bright green accents around the padded leather collar. A Flying NB logo is debossed on the quarter panel, while a dual-branded leather tag adorns the gusseted tongue. Lightweight cushioning is provided by an EVA midsole, reinforced underfoot by a lugged Vibram rubber outsole.
