Converse Jack Purcell Modern Fragment Black

In 1935, Canadian badminton champion Jack Purcell created his own canvas and rubber badminton shoe with a signature ‘smile’ on its toe. In 2017, Japanese designer Hiroshi Fujiwara brought his signature minimalist aesthetic to the classic silhouette with this Fragment Design x Jack Purcell Modern ‘Black.’ It features a simple black canvas upper with contrasting white double stitching, a unique stitched box on the Side Panel, metal eyelets, and Fragment Text on the black midsole trim.
