Jordan Legacy 312 Igloo

Designed to pay tribute to Michael Jordan’s historic run as both an NBA player and a sneaker pitchman, the Jordan Legacy 312 is a creative mashup of several Air Jordan sneakers, including the Air Jordan 1 and the Air Jordan 3. Outside seeking inspiration from other Air Jordans, the Jordan Legacy 312 Igloo also borrows Chicago’s area code for part of its name. The Jordan Legacy 312 was created by Don C, and while it’s a busy shoe with a lot going on from a design perspective, it really only scratches the surface in terms of pinpointing MJ’s immense influence. It does, however, manage to highlight some of the best aspects of the AJ1 and AJ3 while also incorporating some unexpected features like a strap that stems from the Nike Air Alpha Force, which was a sneaker MJ wore on a single occasion during his career. The feature we find most appealing about this shoe, though, is the colorway, as it includes black, white, concord, and a special "igloo" color. The Jordan Legacy 312 Igloo first landed in stores on October 4, 2021 with a retail price of $160.
