The Nike Dunk High Pick Up takes a classic silhouette and crafts it in luxurious, unrelieved white. The upper of the "Pick Up" iteration of the Nike Dunk High-Top starts with a base of smooth white leather. The toe box is dotted with iconic circular perforations, with star-shaped perforations down the middle. The classic Dunk overlays are formed of white tumbled leather and adorn the toe cap, vamp, eyestays, collar, and heel. The iconic Nike side panel Swoosh is also crafted from white tumbled leather. The sock liner of this high top is padded around the collar for increased ankle comfort. The white foam midsole sits atop a white rubber outsole grooved with the signature Dunk traction pattern of stars, grooves, and concentric circles. What we appreciate most about this shoe is the decorative stitching on the upper. Chinese characters that translate to "pick up" are embroidered on the outer heel, and a tab at the heel has stitching that looks like a face. The Nike Dunk High Pick Up was released on May 5, 2022, for $150 retail.
