The Converse Pro Leather High ‘Breaking Down Barriers’ pays tribute to Indiana’s Crispus Attucks Tigers, who in 1955 became the first all-black high school basketball team to win a state championship. Inspired by the team’s letterman’s jacket, the vintage hoops shoe features a white felt upper with mismatched Star Chevron branding in yellow and green. The heel tab on the left shoe is embroidered with ‘CA 55,’ while the Tigers’ logo adorns the right. Four embroidered stars signify Crispus Attucks’ four state championships.
