adidas D.O.N. Issue #1 Iron Spider

The adidas D.O.N. Issue #1 Iron Spider represents a collaboration between adidas and Marvel to create a sneaker in NBA star Donovan Mitchell's adidas line. The Marvel x adidas Determination Over Negativity Issue #1 Iron Spider features an upper of red mesh with a red mesh overlay on the side panel that works into the eyestays. A gold synthetic leather overlay on the side panel features web-like details that match the ones on the padded red mesh tongue. "Issue #1" branding in gold hits the lateral collar, while gold spider web–like stitching hits the inner side panel. The padded red sock liner and flat red laces complete the look of this upper. What we appreciate most about this basketball sneaker is the sole. The red midsole is composed of Bounce cushioning for both soft landings and springy energy return. The black and red rubber outsole features a wavy modified herringbone traction pattern for multi-directional grip. The adidas D.O.N. Issue #1 Iron Spider was released on August 31, 2019, for $100 retail.
