The adidas Forum Low Taquería Orinoco is part of the adidas Adilicious series, which highlights singular restaurants from around the world. This particular sneaker celebrates Taquería Orinoco, a white-tiled restaurant in Mexico City that serves Northern-style tacos. This low-top sneaker features an off-white leather upper that sports perforations on the side panel and toe box to increase air flow and enhance comfort. Overlays of cream-colored leather adorn the toe cap, side panel, collar, and heel, while white leather overlays hit the vamp and form the iconic three stripes on the side panel. The lateral side panel sports the Taquería Orinoco logo, while the sail-colored midsole features embossed adidas trefoil branding. The outsole in cream-colored and red rubber features circular grooves for traction, and each circle incorporates a trefoil within. What we enjoy the most about this sneaker are the laces. Cream-colored flat laces feature all the meats served at the restaurant written in red script. The adidas Forum Low Taquería Orinoco was released on November 17, 2022 for an original retail price of $155.
