adidas and Gucci teamed up to release a collaborative collection filled with apparel, footwear, and accessories in 2022. The adidas Gazelle Gucci Original GG Beige Brown was one of the shoes to come out of this collection. This adidas x Gucci sneaker featured the adidas Gazelle silhouette that was first introduced in the 1960s, covered with Gucci’s instantly recognizable GG print. It had a light-brown canvas upper with white leather Three Stripes, and a red leather tab on the heel that included both the adidas Trefoil and the word "GUCCI" in metallic gold. But the best part about this adidas x Gucci sneaker may have been the translucent cupsole that helped showcase even more of the Gucci branding on it. It allowed the GG print on the upper to breathe and let it be known that this wasn’t just any ordinary adidas Gazelle. The adidas Gazelle Gucci Original GG Beige Brown was released on June 7, 2022, for a $850 retail price.
