The adidas Originals ADI2000 Purple is a skateboarding shoe that takes its inspiration from designs that were popular in the early 2000s. The purple colorway of the adidas Originals ADI2000 features an upper with a base of lightweight, well-ventilated purple mesh. Purple leather overlays with slot-like perforations cover the toebox and overlay the collar. White leather appears as the iconic adidas side-panel three stripes and also as a heel tab with purple and black trefoil branding. Black leather hits this upper as a toebox overlay, while black synthetics enhance the eyestays and mud guard. A padded tongue and collar enhance comfort, fat laces bolster a secure closure, and a purple and black pull tab at the heel eases on/off for this pair of skate kicks. The aspect of this sneaker that we enjoy the most is the platform sole unit. A white foam midsole rests atop a grippy outsole constructed of brown, purple, and off-white rubber.
