About this product
Created by Horst Dassler in 1969, the adidas Superstar is credited as the first basketball sneaker with an all-leather upper and rubber toe shell cap. This edition celebrates 2011 NBA Championship winners, the Dallas Mavericks. Sporting team colors, the Superstar 1 NBA Series ‘Dallas Mavericks’ has a blue, textured upper with black, light grey and white Three-Stripes. The shoe’s lining, tongue and lateral heel panel showcase the Mavericks logo—a shield with the head of a stallion whose mane flows into a circle, mirroring the seam lines on a basketball.
