About this product
The long history shared between adidas and the legendary rap group Run-DMC is celebrated in this Superstar 80s. The shoe launched in November 2011, marking the 25th anniversary of the trio’s legendary track, ‘My Adidas.’ The song title is printed on the tongue, while the embroidered ‘1986’ references the year that the single was released. A gold lace-jewel evokes the trio’s signature ‘dookie’ chains, while a tribute to the late Jam Master Jay graces the heel tab.
