adidas signed skateboarder Kader Sylla to an endorsement deal in April 2021. The adidas Superstar ADV Kader Sylla Dark Purple was unveiled a little more than a year later. It was a follow-up to a black version of the same sneaker. This adidas x Kader Sylla shoe featured a hairy suede purple upper that made it hard to miss right from the start. It also had a toe cap and a sole that were a slightly darker shade of purple to really make it stand out. There was gold adidas branding on the tongue, as well, which managed to give the sneaker a more regal look.
