Initially released in 1976, the Brooks Vanguard captures the essence of the era's running boom with its classic design and heritage styling. This 'Royal' version—released in May 2015—is shaped by a nylon upper clad in tonal suede with a T-toe. A bold hue enlivens the logo-debossed backstay and signature logo panel at the midfoot. Stability and comfort are aided by its striped foam midsole and podded grip rubber outsole
