The Casio G-Shock x Javier Calleja DW-56002G22-1JR/35-88-1423-00001-1690 is a digital watch designed in collaboration with renowned Spanish artist Javier Calleja. This iteration of the Casio G-Shock is made with a black resin band adorned with iconic sketches of children with large eyes in white, drawings that have become characteristic of Calleja’s work. The band keeper is a bright orange color. The case is also black resin with "G-Shock Protection" embossed into the bezel. The digital watch face is black and displays the time down to the second, the day of the week, and the date. "Take Your Time", a piece of Javier Calleja’s branding, appears in red at the bottom of the watch face. On the back of the watch, another of Calleja’s drawings as well as his name are engraved into the metal. What we appreciate most about this watch is the pops of color that appear on the watch face and the band keeper. These give the otherwise all black and white watch more visual appeal.
