The Converse Chuck Taylor II Hi Black is a recrafted version of the iconic 2015 Converse Chuck Taylor II, a sequel to the original 1917 Converse Chuck Taylor All Star. A more premium version of its predecessors, this shoe features a durable black canvas upper detailed with an embroidered patch on the lateral instep, All Star lettering at the heel, flat laces, and eyelets. The canvas upper is contrasted by a white rubber toe cap and white foxing tape that fades into a diamond-patterned midsole. Its design is rounded out by a rubber outsole, vulcanized for increased underfoot grip. This shoe was released on the 28th of July, 2015. At the time, it retailed at $75.
