The John Elliott x Converse Skid Grip ‘French Oak Green’ gives the archival low-top a tactile makeover. The American menswear designer dresses the sneaker in a flocked textile upper, featuring an off-white base with scattered green accents. The unique two-tone effect, achieved through a two-stage printing process, mimics the look of organic lichen growth. Dual Converse and John Elliott branding adorns the tongue tag, sockliner and rubber license plate. Underfoot, a herringbone-traction rubber outsole provides grippy traction.
