Damian Lillard unveiled the fifth edition of his adidas signature series, the Dame 5 in 2019. This collection was influenced by different aspects of Lillard’s life, from childhood to adulthood. Released in May 2019, Dame 5 'La Heem, The Dream' sneaker dons a textile upper with gold-flecked accents throughout. Its exterior features ‘La Heem’ and ‘The Dream’ across the heel and outsole. ‘La Heem' is Damian’s alter ego, a Muslim word given to him by his cousin.
