Hermes Kelly Retourne Togo Palladium 32 Noir

Named after Princess Grace of Monaco (née Grace Kelly), the Kelly received its title when the actress, was widely photographed carrying it, using it to conceal her pregnancy from paparazzi. It first appeared with her during the filming of Alfred Hitchcock’s 1954 classic, "To Catch a Thief." But before it became known as the Kelly, it was known as the "Sac à dépêches," designed by the son-in-law of Hermes, Robert Dumas. Older and perhaps wiser than its sister, the Birkin, the Kelly comes in eight sizes and two styles, the Sellier and Retourne. Unlike the Birkin, which comes with two top handles, the Kelly has one top handle and an optional shoulder strap. This Kelly Retourne 32 is made from textured calfskin leather in black, featuring palladium hardware, and a reinforced leather top handle. It includes a leather key holder known as a clochette, padlock and keys. It opens up to a leather-lined interior that includes several compartments, including a zipper pocket.
