Jordan Brand has experimented with some pretty unorthodox colorways in recent years, while attempting to put modern twists on the iconic shoe. The Jordan 1 Mid Purple Mocha (GS), which is available in grade school sizes, is a great example of the brand taking colors that weren't normally found on the AJ1 and incorporating them into the mix. The upper on this AJ1 is constructed out of leather and covered with brown and black. These colors are softened up by the purple accents on the sneaker's Swooshes, laces, and lining. The brown color utilized on the upper extends down to the outsole, and the white midsole manages to help tie all these different colors together and make them look right at home. While our experts acknowledge this isn't necessarily the craziest color combination ever used on an AJ1, it certainly is up there. Jordan Brand discovered a way to make these colors work.
