About this product
Based on the OG white and black colorway worn by Michael Jordan during the 1996-97 NBA season, this grade-school sneaker features a black outsole paired with a yellow carbon-fiber shank as a reference to New York City taxis. Additional hits of yellow appear on the outsole’s ‘23’ accent, while the top eyelets appear in gold. The Jumpman and ’23’ on the back of the shoe appear in a more subdued red. First retroed in 2008’s Countdown Collection, the ‘Taxi’ was also given the low-top treatment in 2011.
