The Air Jordan 9 Retro ‘University Blue’ draws inspiration from the ‘90s, as the color scheme recalls an Orlando Magic PE worn by Nick Anderson and Penny Hardaway. The perforated white leather upper is fortified with a contrasting black overlay, matching the sneaker’s molded eyelets and rope laces. University Blue hits make their way to the various branding elements, including an Air Jordan tongue tag and a Jumpman icon on the lateral midsole.
