About this product
Released in September 2017, the Nike Kyrie 3 'Mamba Mentality' was based on a Kobe 5 colorway that Kyrie Irving laced up as a 17-year-old for the Nike Extravaganza in California. That shoe was itself inspired by the yellow and black jumpsuit worn by Bruce Lee in his 1978 movie 'Game of Death.' As a tribute to his friend and mentor Kobe Bryant, the yellow and black upper features a snakeskin-inspired pattern on the medial with a Samurai pattern on the lateral side. The shoe also comes with four red scratch marks on the side panel inspired by the scratches Bruce Lee received in the final fight of his 1973 movie 'Enter the Dragon.'
