The New Balance 57/40 Rain Cloud layers shades and textures of gray and white to create a retro shoe that updates and reimagines 1988’s iconic NB 574. The upper of the New Balance 57/40 Rain Cloud is constructed from gray mesh with light gray suede overlays and oversized white leather N branding on the side panel. The eyebrow and mudguard harken back to the 1980s with their distinct undulating wave pattern while the updated white stacked midsole provides cushioning and the black rubber outsole offers a modified traction pattern. A slimmer last along with reflective hits complete this silhouette. Released on January 6, 2021, the New Balance 57/40 Rain Cloud sold at a retail price of $100.
