About this product
When it first came out in 1988, the New Balance 996 was a new take on New Balance silhouettes that had come before it, adding extra cushioning and a two-tone midsole. A kids'-sized reissue, the New Balance 996 Wide Little Kids 'Orange Purple' continues the lineage, adding a bright pastel colorway to the lightweight mesh and leather upper. A midfoot strap helps keep the foot in place, with 'N' branding on the side panel to top the look.
