Following the successful release of Nike's Dunk Low NY vs. NY in 2021, the sneaker giant dropped Nike Air Force 1 07 LV8 NY vs. NY in 2022 in celebration of the Big Apple's summer streetball tournament. Nike organises the annual event to shine a spotlight on the finest young b-ballers in the state, which provides a platform to display their talents and represent their areas. The AF1 NY vs. NY iteration celebrates the much-loved sporting event and features a premium black leather upper with a dark green Nike Swoosh, tongue tab, and Nike branding embroidery on the white heel tab with a red swoosh to add some more colour. "NY vs NY" is also visible on the tongue and lateral heel, and you can add interchangeable Velcro patches that pay tribute to the many NY basketball courts. Green shades shine through all over the design in circular line embroidery with team names in between the lines, including Watson and Uptown Challenge.
