Nike Air Max 1 '87 Premium University of Oregon PE (2024)

The Nike Air Max 1 ’87 Premium ‘University of Oregon’ PE is inspired by the different species of ducks found in the Pacific Northwest. The upper blends perforated light brown leather overlays with a tan suede mudguard and leopard-print panels. “Once A Duck” and “Always A Duck” land on the left and right heels, respectively. Iridescent detailing appears on the collar. Nike and Ducks of a Feather branding is embroidered on the chocolate brown suede tongue tags. Rendered in dark blue and bearing the “DOAF” motif, the sockliner recreates the look of ripples on water. Underfoot, a white polyurethane midsole houses a visible Air unit in the heel, anchored by a two-tone rubber traction outsole. Produced in partnership with Division Street’s Ducks of a Feather, proceeds benefit participating University of Oregon student-athletes.
