The last 90s release of the Air Max Tailwind franchise, the Nike AM Tailwind 4 became a highly acclaimed runner after its release in 1999 for its superior cushioning capabilities. The retro shoe was brought back for the June 2019 Air Max Tailwind 4 SP 'Geyser Grey' sneaker. The upper swaps mesh and leather for graphic ripstop nylon. Energizing from below, visible Max Air units are embedded in the chunky rubber sole, outfitted with a speckled finish.
